PRJ: Milestone Task Bar Shows as Entire Day in Calendar View
This article was previously published under Q113155
In Microsoft Project, when you view a milestone task in the
Calendar view, the task bar for the milestone task displays across an entire day, even though a milestone task has a duration of 0d.
In the
Calendar view, you cannot select start and end shapes in the
Bar Styles dialog box like you can in the
Gantt Chart view. Because of this, tasks in the
Calendar view can only be displayed as a bar, and a milestone task bar displays across the entire width of a day.
NOTE: Although you cannot change the length of the task bar for a milestone task, you can change the format of the bar--such as the color, style, and pattern.

Bar Styles Command (Calendar), choose

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
