Incorrect Late Start and Late Finish dates when you move a task in Project

In Microsoft Project, when you move a task to start after the project
finish date, the
Late Start and
Late Finish dates for the task are calculated incorrectly if the project is scheduled from the project finish date.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
When you move a task to start after the project finish date, and the
project is scheduled from the project finish date, the task is scheduled
after the project finish. This behavior is expected. However, the
Late
Start and
Late Finish dates for the task are the same as the scheduled start and finish. This behavior is incorrect because the task cannot start or finish after the project finishes; therefore, the task should appear with negative slack.
Note that this behavior does not occur in Microsoft Project version 3.0.
