PRJ: Names Added to "All At Once" Slip Immediately Marked Received

This article was previously published under Q114279

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project, if a recipient of an All At Once routing slip edits the slip and adds more names to the To list, the additional names are immediately marked Received.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

MORE INFORMATION

Routing slips are created in Microsoft Project using Add Routing Slip command (located on the File menu). The All At Once option causes the slip to be sent to all the selected recipients simultaneously. A recipient can review the project by double-clicking the embedded Microsoft Project icon in the mail they receive. When the recipient reviews the project, he or she can choose the Edit Routing Slip command from the File menu to see the list of current recipients (all marked Received), and can add new names to the To list by choosing the Address button. Any new names added are immediately marked Received (even though the new recipients have not yet received the project).

APPLIES TO
  • Microsoft Project 2000 Standard Edition
  • Microsoft Project 98 Standard Edition
  • Microsoft Project 4.1 Standard Edition
  • Microsoft Project 4.0 Standard Edition
