PRJ: Unassigned Resource Has Wrong Work and Cost in Pool
This article was previously published under Q176292
In Microsoft Project, if you view a resource pool in
Resource Usage view, you may see incorrect work and cost values for the
Unassigned resource.
NOTE: The incorrect work and cost values you see will not affect the
project total work and cost. The values displayed are not included in the
calculations of the totals.
This occurs when the pool is open, but the files that use the resource pool
are not.
To resolve this problem, open the files that use the pool. This causes the
pool to be updated to display the correct information.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft
Project listed above.
APPLIES TO
- Microsoft Project 2000 Standard Edition
- Microsoft Project 98 Standard Edition
Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
