After you install the 1995 Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia version 7.01,
your computer restarts, and you may then receive one or more of the
following general protection (GP) fault error messages:
IS20DEL caused a segment not present fault in module USER.EXE at 0004:00002ca4
-or-
MMTASK caused a general protection fault in module MMSYSTEM.DLL at 0004:00001837
-or-
MMTASK caused a segment not present fault in module KRNL386.EXE at 0002:00000d82
This behavior can occur because the Msacm.dll file is loaded into memory
by Windows 98 or Windows Me when it starts. The Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia Setup
program overwrites and then restores this file while it is resident in
memory, and this causes the copy of the file that is resident in memory
to become unstable.
