PRJ: Objects in Gantt Chart Not Displayed in Schedule Note
This article was previously published under Q197548
When you open a bitmap attached to a Schedule Note sent from Microsoft
Project, some objects inserted on the Gantt Chart may not be displayed.
This behavior may occur when you view a bitmap image of a Gantt Chart
attached to a Schedule Note, and the Gantt Chart contains an inserted
Object (for example, a bitmap object).
To work around this behavior, copy the Gantt Chart as a GIF image and send
the image in a mail message. To do this, follow these steps:
- In the Gantt Chart view, click Copy Picture on the
Standard toolbar.
- Click to select To GIF Image File.
- Choose a location for the file to be saved to. Click
OK.
- In an e-mail client, create a message and include the GIF image saved
in step 3.
- Send the message to the appropriate recipient.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
APPLIES TO
- Microsoft Project 2000 Standard Edition
- Microsoft Project 98 Standard Edition
- Microsoft Project 4.0 Standard Edition
- Microsoft Project 4.1 Standard Edition
Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
