WD2000: How to Use Wild Cards to Search for Currency in Your Document

This article explains how you can use wild cards to search for currency in a Microsoft Word 2000 document.
If you want to find currency formatted text -- for example, $123.45 -- in your document, follow these steps:
- On the Edit menu, click Find.
- In the Find and Replace dialog box, click the Find tab, and then click More.
- Click to select the Use wildcards check box under Search Options.
- In the Find what box, type $*>.<*>, and then click Find Next.
