PUB2000: How to Prepare Text and Objects for a T-shirt Transfer
This article was previously published under Q212613
In Microsoft Publisher, you can reverse (flip) an object or text so that
you can transfer the image or text to a T-shirt. This article provides two
methods you can use to transfer an image or text.
The Flip Horizontal feature is unavailable for all graphics in Microsoft
Publisher.
Method 1: Flip Images Horizontally
- Select the clip art object.
- On the Arrange menu, point to Rotate or Flip, and click Flip Horizontal.
You now have a flipped image.
Method 2: Use Microsoft WordArt to Flip Text Horizontally
- On the Insert menu, point to Picture, and click New Drawing.
- On the Insert menu, click WordArt
- Click a WordArt style and click OK.
- Type the text you want and click OK.
- Click on your publication to return to Microsoft Publisher.
- On the Arrange menu, point to Rotate or Flip, and click Flip Horizontal.
You now have a flipped text image.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
