SUMMARY

In Microsoft Publisher, you can reverse (flip) an object or text so that you can transfer the image or text to a T-shirt. This article provides two methods you can use to transfer an image or text.

The Flip Horizontal feature is unavailable for all graphics in Microsoft Publisher.

Method 1: Flip Images Horizontally

  1. Select the clip art object.
  2. On the Arrange menu, point to Rotate or Flip, and click Flip Horizontal.
You now have a flipped image.

Method 2: Use Microsoft WordArt to Flip Text Horizontally

  1. On the Insert menu, point to Picture, and click New Drawing.
  2. On the Insert menu, click WordArt
  3. Click a WordArt style and click OK.
  4. Type the text you want and click OK.
  5. Click on your publication to return to Microsoft Publisher.
  6. On the Arrange menu, point to Rotate or Flip, and click Flip Horizontal.
You now have a flipped text image.
