OFF2000: Microsoft Office Manager View Settings Do Not Migrate to Office Shortcut Bar
This article was previously published under Q217435
When you upgrade from Microsoft Office 4.x to Microsoft Office 2000, the Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar in Microsoft Office 2000 does not retain the customized View settings that you have made to the Microsoft Office Manager.
This problem occurs because the Microsoft Office Manager View settings are not migrated to the Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar in Microsoft Office 2000.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
Even though the View settings are not migrated, the Microsoft Office Manager toolbar is maintained in a toolbar named "Old Office" in the Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar.
