BUG: Binder does not appear in the Office 2000 Tools program group

SYMPTOMS

Microsoft Binder does not appear in your Microsoft Office Tools program group even though you chose it during setup.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if the following conditions are true:
  • You chose the Installed on First Use option for Binder during Office Setup.

    -and-

  • You are running Microsoft Windows NT.

WORKAROUND

To work around the problem, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, and then click New Office Document.
  2. Click Cancel in the New Office Document dialog box.
Binder will now appear in your Microsoft Office Tools program group.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
