CAUSE

The Default max records setting is too low to import all the records. The default value of the Default max records setting is 10,000.

  2. click the Advanced tab.
  3. In the Default max records box, type a number that is equal to or greater than the number of records in the source table.

MORE INFORMATION

Steps to Reproduce Behavior.

  1. Open the sample database, Northwind.mdb.
  2. Create a table with more than 10,000 records.
  3. Save the table and close Northwind.mdb.
  4. Create a Microsoft Access Project (ADP).
  5. Import the newly created table from Northwind.mdb.
  6. Open the table in Datasheet view.

This article helped a great deal. I figured the reason for not seeing past 10,000 was that it was a default limit, but it never occurred to me to try to change it! Thanks for the info, really helps alot! Jim Piller IT Analyst World Almanac Education
