Using either a Line of Business or Custom Connector content source with a Custom Security Trimmer using the 'checkaccess' method fails to return search results after upgrade from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010
This article is to help inform users of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 who may be using Custom Security Trimmers with BDC content sources who may break on upgrade.
Using either a Line of Business or Custom Connector content source with a Custom Security Trimmer using the 'checkaccess' method fails to return search results after upgrade from Micosoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 to Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010
If the content source supports bulk access requests, use the 'bulkcheckaccess' method instead of 'checkaccess' in the Custom Security Trimmer.
