Installing Windows Server Update Services 3.0 sp2
Microsoft Professional Advisory Services is a support option that provides short-term, proactive, consultative support beyond break-fix product maintenance needs. This includes working with the same technician for assistance with issues like product migration, code review, or new program development and is a remote, phone-based support option. This service is typically used for shorter engagements, and is designed for developers and IT professionals who do not require the traditional onsite consulting or sustained account management services that are available from other Microsoft support options.
For additional information on Microsoft Advisory Services, including on how to engage, refer to this Microsoft web page:

This WSUS 3.0 sp2 installation and configuration Pro Advisory Support Offering makes the following assumptions:
- The current server for which WSUS is to be installed is healthy and configured as a domain member.

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd939870(WS.10).aspx
(http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd939870(WS.10).aspx)
- After the install of the WSUS server role, we will configure the WSUS server to Synchronize with Microsoft Update, select the correct Products and Classifications applicable to the customer environment, verify the synchronization starts successfully. (this may take several hours to complete)
- Determine a method to configure client computers with WSUS policy (local registry modification or Active Directory)
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd939821(WS.10).aspx
(http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd939821(WS.10).aspx)
- Select a client update installation method i.e:Â installation method (download and schedule, download and prompt)
