When PowerPoint Slide Master is open, most commands on the Multiple-Mouse tab are unavailable
When you open PowerPoint Slide Master, and then click the
Multiple-Mouse tab, the buttons to add a layout, assign answers, and position answers are unavailable. Only buttons for playing the slide show and viewing the Mouse Mischief
Guided Tour or
Help and How-to buttons are available. The
New Slide button is also available. However, it will not always let you add a new multiple-mouse slide.
Features that apply multiple-mouse layouts on a slide are unavailable when Slide Master is open. You use Slide Master to change the pre-formatted layouts that PowerPoint and Mouse Mischief make available. Applying pre-formatted layouts is irrelevant to working in Slide Master because Slide Master controls the layout. Therefore, features that apply multiple-mouse layouts are unavailable when Slide Master is open.
Close Slide Master before you return to the
Multiple-Mouse tab.
To close Slide Master
- Click the Slide Master tab.
- Click Close Master View.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
