Description of the Office updates: August 10, 2010
On Tuesday, August 10, 2010, Microsoft released the following security and non-security updates. These monthly updates are intended to keep our customers secure and up-to-date. We recommend that you install all updates that apply to you.

MS10-056: Description of the security update for the 2007 Office system and for the Compatibility Pack for the 2007 Office system: August 10, 2010
Known issues
After you install this update on a computer that is running Microsoft Office 2003 and the Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 File Formats, you may receive an error message that resembles the following when you try to when open a file that was saved by using Information Rights Management (IRM):
Unable to open file. Password is incorrect
To resolve this problem, install hotfix 983309. For more information, visit the following Microsoft Web page:
