Updates for the .NET Framework may not have a fully localized setup experience

Support for Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) ends on July 12, 2011. To continue receiving security updates for Windows, make sure you're running Windows Vista with Service Pack 2 (SP2). SYMPTOMS

Updates for the .NET Framework 4 may not show a fully localized user interface during installation and uninstallation. For example, you may see only English text in some areas of the setup wizard even when the update is installed correctly in your non-English system.

The English text in a non-English installer may occur in several areas, and this includes buttons on the screen and the link to the privacy statement.

MORE INFORMATION

The appearance of the English text does not indicate any problem in the installation. In most cases, the installation of the update will succeed. Any issues that might occur during installation of the update are unrelated to the non-localized setup experience.
