Wrong entries or error in Project Central when you transfer calendar entries from Outlook
This article was previously published under Q245874
In Microsoft Project Central, when you transfer calendar entries from Microsoft Outlook, another user's calendar entries may be transferred instead of your own.
This behavior may occur when a computer contains multiple Microsoft Outlook profiles, and the user who is logged on to Microsoft Project Central has a different profile from the user who is logged on to Microsoft Windows. For example, assume two people use the same computer as follows:
- One user logs on to Windows, and then logs on to Outlook as their default Outlook profile.
-and- - While the first user is logged on, a second user with a different Outlook profile logs on to Microsoft Project Central as their Windows user account.
In this scenario, Microsoft Project Central imports the calendar entries of the user who is logged on to Windows, instead of the user who is logged on to Microsoft Project Central.
To work around this behavior, you must first log on to Microsoft Windows, and then log on to Microsoft Project Central as the same user. If someone else is logged on to Windows, log them off first, before you use Microsoft Project Central.

Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
