CG5: No Categories Displayed Only for Sounds Media Tab
This article was previously published under Q247055
When you try to insert a sound from the
Sounds media tab in Clip Gallery 5.0, you receive the following error message:
There were no clips found matching your request. Try a different media tab or keyword.
This error occurs if the installation program for Office left the clips on the CD (the default setting), and the installation CD is not currently in the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive. This behavior occurs with Microsoft Office 2000 Professional, Microsoft Office 2000 Premium, Microsoft Works 2000, and Microsoft Publisher 2000.
To correct this problem, insert the appropriate installation CD into the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive and try reinserting the sound.
APPLIES TO
- Microsoft Clip Gallery 5.0
- Microsoft Office 2000 Professional Edition
- Microsoft Office 2000 Premium Edition
- Microsoft Publisher 2000 Standard Edition
- Microsoft Works 2000 Standard Edition

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
