SYMPTOMS

When you use the FrontPage 2000 client with Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0, exception lists in the proxy settings are ignored. This causes all page requests to be routed through the proxy server.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for FrontPage Server Extensions. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
