When you request your computer to exit from Hibernation mode while it is in a docking station, and then you resend it into Hibernation mode while it is undocked, you may receive the following error message:
Fatal Exception Error 0028:C156DAD1
This behavior may occur in the following situations:
- You are using a computer that has a NeoMagic 256AV video adapter installed.
- You are using a computer that has a NeoMagic MagicMedia 256AV video driver for Microsoft Windows Millennium installed.
To work around this behavior, you must insert the computer into the docking station before you send it into Hibernation mode.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition.
