STI Driver for Kodak DC25 Camera Is Removed When You Upgrade to Windows Me
This article was previously published under Q266988
When you are running a Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition-based computer that has a Still Image Architecture (STI) in-box driver installed for a Kodak DC25 camera, and then you upgrade to Windows Millennium Edition (Me), the STI driver is deleted.
This behavior can occur because the Kodak DC25 camera is not supported as an in-box device in Windows Me.
To resolve this behavior, install the driver for the Kodak DC25 camera from the vendor compact disc. For assistance with installing the driver, contact the camera manufacturer.
This behavior is by design.
The Independent Hardware Vendor (IHV) driver for the Kodak DC25 camera is preserved in the upgrade.

and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
