This article was previously published under Q271582
When you try to print a Web page from Internet Explorer 5.5 by using a Hewlett Packard (HP) DeskJet 932C, 930, 950 or 970 printer, you may receive the following error message:
IEXPLORE caused a general protection fault in Module GDI.EXE at 0007:000007ed
NOTE: The 12 digits at the end of the error message may vary.
This issue can occur if the BD Denver TrueType font is damaged.
To resolve this issue, delete the BD Denver TrueType font:
- Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Fonts.
- In the list of installed fonts, click the BD Denver TrueType font, and then click Delete.
- Quit the Fonts tool.
The BD Denver TrueType font is included with the Streetwise Software "By Design" group of programs, and By Design is included with many HP DeskJet printers.

and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
