Safe Mode Troubleshooter is a component of Help and Support. This troubleshooter is designed to help you discover any issues that may prevent Windows from starting normally.

When you start the computer in safe mode, the troubleshooter is displayed automatically. To run Safe Mode Troubleshooter, click Next to run the troubleshooter, and then click the link to run the System Restore utility.

If you do not want to run the troubleshooter, click the Close (X) button in the upper-right corner to close the troubleshooter.

To manually start Safe Mode Troubleshooter, click Start, point to Run, type the following command, and then click OK:
