SYMPTOMS

When you export and then import a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server database between different language versions of Windows Server 2003, the import process may not succeed. The import utility may report a conflict with class names and may also display "Default BOOTP Class" in localized characters.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur because migration of a DHCP server database between different languages is not supported.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
