OFFXP: Error in Help Topic "Turn On or Off Transparent Floating Toolbars"

SYMPTOMS

In the products listed at the beginning of this article, the Help topic "Turn on or off transparent floating toolbars" is incorrect. The topic states the following:

Turn on or off transparent floating toolbars

  1. On the View menu, point to Toolbars, and then click Customize.
  2. Click the Options tab.
  3. Under Other, clear or select the Transparent floating toolbars check box.
However, there is no Transparent floating toolbars check box.

CAUSE

This is a documentation error in Help.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

MORE INFORMATION

The Transparent floating toolbars check box does not exist. There are no transparent floating toolbars in Office programs.
