Description: Single-adapter not supported for NLB
Event Type: Error

Meaning: Single network adapters configuration is not supported in network load balancing (NLB) mode. The member must have a minimum of two network adapters for Application Center to properly function in NLB mode.

Effect: Application Center management of NLB cannot be used on the member until an additional network adapter is added. For more information about load balancing options, see Application Center Help.

Possible Causes and Solutions

Only one network adapter: There is only one network adapter on this member.

Hardware failure: A network adapter hardware or driver failure has occurred.

  1. Restart the computer.
  2. Use the Support Online link in the Events view.
  3. Contact Microsoft Product Support Services:
