Failed to add a script mapping to the path %Location%. Requests for files with this extension will not be forwarded and will fail. Status is %Status%: %StatusMessage%.

Meaning: A script mapping necessary to forward a request has not been added to the extensions list.

Effect: Requests for files with this extension will not be forwarded and will fail.

Possible Causes and Solutions

Extension list changed: The extension (script mapping) list has been changed on the cluster controller or the cluster member. To check the script mapping list, use the Internet Information Services (IIS) snap-in.

Configuration store (metabase) corrupt: The store that Application Center uses for configuration data is corrupted or unavailable. Restart the IIS Admin service by using the Services utility in Administrative Tools. If this problem persists, contact your support personnel.

Other Solutions (listed in order of preference):
  1. Restart the other computer.
  2. Restart the cluster controller.
  3. Use the Support Online link in the Events view.
  4. Contact Microsoft Product Support Services:
