FP2002: Added Field Names Are Not Displayed in List View Page
This article was previously published under Q292715
In a Web browser, when you view a page that contains a
List View Web component, new fields that you add to the list may not be displayed.
This problem can occur when you add a new field to a list after the
List View Web component has been added to a page. After a list has been placed on a Web page, it is not automatically updated with new fields that have been added to the list.
To work around this issue, change the properties of the
List View component to include the new fields. To do this, follow these steps:
- Right-click the List View, and then click View Properties.
- Click the Fields button.
- In the Available Fields column, select the field that you want to add, and then click the Add button.
- Click OK twice.
NOTE: To change the order of the fields that are displayed, select a field in the
Displayed Fields column, and then click either
Move Up or
Move Down.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
