Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. Open the sample database Northwind.mdb.
  2. Create a new form that is based on the Orders Table.
  3. On the Insert menu, click ActiveX Controls.
  4. Based on the version of Access that you are using, do one of the following:
    • If you are using Access 2000, in theInsert ActiveX Control dialog box, click Calendar Control 9.0, and then click OK.
    • If you are using Access 2002, in the Insert ActiveX Control dialog box, click Calendar Control 10.0, and then click OK.
    • If you are using Access 2003, in the Insert ActiveX Control dialog box, click Calendar Control 11.0, and then click OK.
  5. If the property sheet for the Calendar control is not visible, on the View menu, click Properties.
  6. Change the ControlSource property of the Calendar control to OrderDate.

  8. On the View menu, click Form. Note that the Calendar control and the text box show the same date.
  9. Click multiple dates in the Calendar control.
Note that your subsequent selections do not update the date value shown in the text box until you move the focus off the Calendar control by clicking in the text box.
