Media Bar Is Unavailable on Internet Explorer 6 for Windows NT 4.0

In Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, when you click
Internet Options on the
Tools menu, and then click the
Advanced tab, under
Multimedia, you see a
Don't display online media content in the media bar check box; however, you are unable to locate the Media bar to which this setting refers.
The Media bar depends on the Windows Media Player, and Windows Media Player is not available for the Windows NT 4.0 operating system.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
Because the Media bar is not available in Internet Explorer for Windows NT 4.0, you can ignore the
Don't display online media content in the media bar check box.
The Media bar is available in Internet Explorer 6 for use with the following operating systems:
- Microsoft Windows 98
- Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition
- Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition
- Microsoft Windows 2000
