Web Site Reports That You Must Enable Cookies
This article was previously published under Q299331
When you use services from Web site "A" by using a frameset
(or portal) on Web site "B", cookies that Web site A tries to set may be
blocked at the default medium privacy level.
In the preceding example, Web site A is in the third-party
context. The medium privacy setting blocks third-party cookies that do not have
a compact policy (a condensed computer-readable privacy statement) or
third-party cookies that have a compact policy that specifies that personally
identifiable information is used without your implicit consent.
To work around this behavior, connect to Web site A
directly, or set your privacy level to low or to accept all cookies:
- In Internet Explorer, click Internet
Options on the Tools menu.
- On the Privacy tab, move the settings
slider to Low or Accept All
Cookies.
- Click OK.
This behavior is by design.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
