How to find and download Microsoft Updates for Windows Millennium Edition

This article describes how to find and download Microsoft updates for Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me).
Windows Update is a feature that is included with Windows Me to provide easy access to updates that are released by Microsoft. You can run the Windows Update feature by using either of the following methods:
- Click Start, click Windows Update, and then click Scan for updates for a list of available components.
- In an Internet Explorer browser window, click Tools, click Windows Update, and then click Scan for updates for a list of available components.
Automatic Updates
You can configure the Automatic Updates feature to notify you of updates when they are posted to the Windows Update Web site.
