PRB: An Error Message Is Displayed When You Access a WebDAV Repository
This article was previously published under Q312676
When you are using the Microsoft BizTalk Editor or the Microsoft BizTalk Mapper to access a WebDAV repository on a Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) server that is running on a port other than the default TCP port 80, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following one:
No BizTalk Server repository was found on http://servername/BizTalkServerRepository/Maps.
Enter another server name to retry the WebDAV connection.
This problem occurs because the BizTalk Editor and the BizTalk Mapper request documents from the designated Web server through TCP port 80 by default.
To access a WebDAV repository that is stored on an IIS server that is not using the TCP port 80, in the
Retrieve from WebDAV dialog box, type
http://servername:port_number
as the new server location in the
Server box.
For example, to access a WebDAV repository that is stored on an IIS Server that is named Biz and that is running on port 81, type the following:
http://Biz:81
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000.
APPLIES TO
- Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000 Standard Edition
- Microsoft BizTalk Server 2002 Standard Edition

Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.

Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
