If you try to send more than 10 megabytes (MB) of data
by using the
XMLHTTPRequest object, the performance of the send action decreases. It takes a long time to send the data through the channel. The
Performance Monitor (perfmon) shows that no data is transmitted over the
channel. When you send the data, the CPU usage
remains high, and the send action stops to respond.
When you send the data by using the
XMLHTTPRequest object, many copies of the data are generated in the memory before the data is sent. Much memory is used before the data is sent over the channel. Therefore,
CPU utilization remains high, and it takes a long time to send lots of data.
