PSRV2002: ScreenTip in the Resource Assignment Bar Graph of Portfolio Modeler Displays Incorrect Start and Finish Dates
This article was previously published under Q322287
When you use Portfolio Modeler in Microsoft Project Web Access to model your project, the ScreenTip may not display the correct start and finish dates for the task. This behavior occurs when you point to the
Resource Assignments for Selected Project bar graph that appears on the
Model projects with Portfolio Model page.
The ScreenTip displays the beginning and end dates of the timescale unit that the bar graph is set to, instead of the actual start and finish dates for the task.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
Use the Portfolio Modeler feature of Microsoft Project to model different project and resource cost scenarios and calendars. These analyses can help you determine the feasibility of a new project, prioritize projects and resources, find potentially over-allocated resources, and identify the best staffing scenarios to use to support projects across your organization. For more information about Portfolio Modeler, start Microsoft Project Web Access, click
Help, and then click
Create a model to analyze project scenarios.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
