SUMMARY

Except for road construction data, the information in Microsoft MapPoint and in Microsoft Streets and Trips is set before the programs are released. Because of the large quantity of information that is available and the constantly-changing nature of maps, it is impossible to include every road, town, and village in MapPoint and in Streets and Trips.

MORE INFORMATION

MapPoint and Streets and Trips provide some of the most comprehensive and accurate databases of road maps in print or on CD.

The lowest display altitudes in these programs give you a very detailed view of North America, complete with small roads, streets, towns, and natural features. Many of the smaller features are drawn from comprehensive geographic databases that have been compiled by the United States government or from companies that specialize in digital mapping.

How to update road construction information

  1. On the Route menu, click Update Construction Information.
  2. Click Yes.
If you find mistakes or have suggestions for improving the maps, click the Send Map Feedback command on the Tools menu.

Community Feedback System

Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back. Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what didn't.

Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry edits), please consult a professional.

Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
