How To: Access IIS 6.0 Help Documentation
This step-by-step article provides instructions for
accessing the Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 Help documentation.
- Click Start, click Administrative
Tools, and then click Internet Information Services (IIS)
Manager.
- On the Help menu, click Help
Topics.
- Expand Internet Information Services.
When you are working in the ISM, you can press
F1
at any time to view a help topic that is related to the current
screen.
The help files are located in
systemroot\Help. The file is Iismmc.chm. You can put a copy of this file on
another computer that does not have IIS installed and view the documents by
double-clicking the file.
