Captions for photo gallery images are right-aligned instead of centered in SharePoint Designer 2007 or in FrontPage 2003

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2007 or in Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003, when you use the Photo Gallery Properties dialog box to add an image as a slide show with a caption, the caption may appear under the image on the right side (right-aligned), instead of under the image in the center.

CAUSE

This issue may occur when you press CTRL+RIGHT SHIFT before you type the caption.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, do not press CTRL+ RIGHT SHIFT while the Photo Gallery Properties dialog box is open.

Note To access the Photo Gallery Properties dialog box, follow these steps, as appropriate for the product that you are running.

SharePoint Designer 2007

  1. Start SharePoint Designer 2007, and then open the slide show page in which you want to add an image with a caption.
  2. On the Insert menu, point to Web Component, and then click Photo Gallery.

FrontPage 2003

  1. Start FrontPage 2003, and then open the slide show page in which you want to add an image with a caption.
  2. On the Insert menu, point to Picture, and then click New Photo Gallery.
