Cannot apply CSS or theme to a FrontPage Dynamic Web Template (.dwt) page in SharePoint Team Services
When you apply a default theme or a cascading style sheet to
all pages of your Web site, the theme or cascading style sheet is not applied
to Dynamic Web Template (*.dwt) pages.
This problem occurs because the Dynamic Web Template page
extension of .dwt is not considered to be an HTML file name extension by the
SharePoint Team Services server extensions, and if the following conditions
exist:
- Your Web site is configured with SharePoint Team Services
from Microsoft version 1.0.
- You apply a cascading style sheet or a default theme to
your whole Web site.
To resolve this problem, upgrade to the latest version of
Windows SharePoint Services. For information about how to do so, visit the
following Microsoft Web site:
Microsoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
APPLIES TO
- Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003
- Microsoft SharePoint Team Services
Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
