Attached pages are not updated when you save changes to a Dynamic Web Template in FrontPage 2003
When you try to update the changes you have made to a master page and its attached pages in a Dynamic Web Template (DWT), the attached pages are not updated.
This problem may occur if you do not recalculate the Web page before you update the Web. When the master page is checked out, and then saved, the link information for the attached files is not saved.
To work around this problem, you must recalculate the Web page before you update the Web. To do this, follow these steps.
Note The Update all pages features is available only when you are authoring against a disk-based Web or against a Windows SharePoint Services server. When the open Web is located on a FrontPage 2002 Extended Server, on an earlier version of FrontPage, or on a SharePoint Team Services server, the Update all pages feature is not available.
- On the Tools menu, click Recalculate Hyperlinks.
- In the Recalculate Hyperlinks dialog box, click Yes. Wait for the recalculation to complete.
- Click Format, point to Dynamic Web Template, and then click Update all pages.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
