You receive an error message when you add a database to a Web page with the Database Results Wizard in FrontPage 2003
When you use the Database Results Wizard in Front Page 2003
to add a database to a Web page, when you click
Finish, you
receive the following error message:
Database Results
Error [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][Named Pipes]Access
denied.
This problem may occur if you select Microsoft Active Server
Pages (ASP) technologies as the technology to connect to an external Microsoft
SQL Server, and have Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.5 or earlier
installed on that server.
To resolve this problem, download and install MDAC 2.7 or
later on your SQL server. To download MDAC 2.7, visit the following Microsoft
Web site:
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
