How to use the Microsoft CRM Server and Microsoft CRM Sales for Outlook client MSDN Subscriber downloads

You cannot use the Microsoft CRM Server and the Microsoft CRM Sales for Outlook client downloads in a live production environment. These two downloads are for development and test purposes only.

The license keys that are made available on the MSDN Subscriber Downloads page are only for development and testing purposes. You must have the key after the installation is complete and when you use Deployment Manager to begin working with Microsoft CRM. The keys also require you to enter an organizational name of either MSDN Subscriber or Adventure Works Cycle.

The following quotation is from the MSDN Subscriptions License Agreement:
MSDN Universal, MSDN Enterprise, MSDN Professional and MSDN Operating Systems are licensed for single users, and can only be used by licensed subscribers. All products that ship in MSDN Subscriptions are for development and test purposes only, and cannot be used in a live production environment.
To download Microsoft CRM Server or Microsoft CRM Sales for Outlook (or both), follow these steps:
  1. Visit the following MSDN Subscriber Downloads Web site:
    http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/subscriptions/default.aspx (http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/subscriptions/default.aspx)
  2. Enter your Microsoft .NET Passport information.
  3. On the MSDN Subscriber Downloads Conditions of Use page, accept the terms to display the download site.
  4. On the download site, follow these steps:
    1. Click Content, and then click Servers.
    2. Click Microsoft Business Solutions Customer Relationship Management (Microsoft CRM).
    3. Click one of the following downloads:
      • Microsoft CRM Server 1.0 (English)
      • Microsoft CRM Sales for Outlook, June 2003 (English)
