You cannot save a document by using WebDAV in FrontPage 2003

SYMPTOMS

When you try to save a document by using World Wide Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV), the document may not be saved successfully, and the Save As dialog box may be displayed again.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if you try to save the document by using WebDAV over the Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) protocol.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
