"Operation Failed" Message Appears When You Try to Move Users from One Home Server to Another
When you use the Move Users Wizard to try to move users from one Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2003 home server to another, the operation is unsuccessful, and information that is similar to the following appears in the Move Users Wizard:
Live Communications Server Snap-in completed the move operation.
0 operation(s) succeeded.
100 operation(s) failed.
This issue occurs when the following conditions exist in the order that is listed:
- You start the Live Communications Server tool on one Live Communications Server home server.
- A second Live Communications Server home server computer is shut down.
- You run the Move Users Wizard to move users from the second home server.
This issue occurs because the Live Communications Server tool does not automatically update the display when the second Live Communications Server home server computer is shut down.
To work around this issue, update the display before you run the Move Users Wizard. To do this, press the F5 key.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
