Downloaded pictures do not appear in the library in Digital Image Suite
When you use the Library in any of the programs that are
listed in the "Applies To" section of this article to view digital pictures,
the pictures downloaded from your camera may not be viewable.
This behavior occurs if the digital pictures are moved from
the camera to a NTFS file system drive. This behavior also occurs because some
software marks photos as temporary files when they are acquired from the
camera. The Picture It! Library and Digital Image Library do not display
temporary files.
To resolve this issue, Microsoft has an update that enables
the Library to view these temporary files. To download the update, visit the
following Microsoft Web site:
Follow the steps that appear on this Web page to download and
install the update.
This behavior has been reported with the following cameras:
- Canon S400 with ZoomBrowser software
- Canon G3
- Canon EOS 10D camera

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
