"The feature that you are trying to use is not supported in your Web browser" error message when you try to view the Site Settings page of your portal site
When you click
Site Settings to connect to
the Site Settings page of your portal site in Microsoft Office SharePoint
Portal Server 2003, you receive the following error message:
The feature that you are trying to use is not supported
in your Web browser. You must install Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0
or higher before using this feature.
This behavior occurs if you use a Web browser other than
Microsoft Internet Explorer, such as Netscape Navigator 7.1 or Mozilla 1.4. The
Site Settings page contains certain dynamic HTML (DHTML) components that are
only supported in Internet Explorer 5.0 or later. To view the Site Settings
page of a portal site in SharePoint Portal Server 2003, you have to use
Internet Explorer 5.0 or later.
To work around this behavior, use Internet Explorer 5.0 or
later to connect to the Site Settings page of your portal site.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
