Other pages are not updated when you change logo on Meeting Workspace Home page

SYMPTOMS

When you try to change the logo (the Meethome.gif file) on the Home page of a multiple-page Microsoft SharePoint Meeting Workspace site, the change may not be made on all pages of the site.

This problem occurs in Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003, when you edit the Home page of a multiple-page Microsoft SharePoint Meeting Workspace site, such as a Social Meeting Workspace, to change the logo (the Meethome.gif file). The change is only partial. For example, you have a custom logo that you name Meethome.gif. When you save your changes and then view the Meeting Workspace site, only the Home page has the new logo. The other pages still have the generic logo in the upper left corner of the page.

CAUSE

For multiple-page Microsoft SharePoint Meeting Workspace sites like the Social Meeting Workspace, each page is different. If you modify the Home page, this action does not update the other pages.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, you must edit each page in the Meeting Workspace separately and then change Meethome.gif graphic in each page.
  1. In Microsoft Internet Explorer, open the Meeting Workspace site that you want to modify.
  2. Click the hyperlink for the Meeting Workspace page that you want to edit.
  3. On the File menu, click Edit with Microsoft FrontPage.
  4. Change the Meethome.gif file. Use the logo that you want.
  5. Save the page, and then quit Microsoft FrontPage.
  6. Refresh the Meeting Workspace page.
