This article describes the Microsoft Office 2000 Proofing Tools issue that is fixed in the Office 2000 Ukrainian Proofing Tools Post-Service Pack 3 hotfix package that is dated November 11, 2003.

Issues that are fixed in the hotfix package

The following issue is fixed in this hotfix package but was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
  • When you check the spelling in your Office document by using the Ukrainian Proofing Tools, if you click Ignore for the first word that is flagged as a misspelling, your Office program may stop responding (hang).

Prerequisites

  • The optimized and the full-file versions of this hotfix are a post-Office 2000 Service Pack 3 (SP-3) hotfix. To install the hotfix, you must have Office 2000 SP-3 installed.
