List Filter Operators Are Rearranged When You Edit the List Filter Criteria in Windows SharePoint Services

SYMPTOMS

If you use Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003 to create filter criteria of a list and then you edit the filter criteria on your Windows SharePoint Services Web site, the filter operators (AND and OR) may be rearranged.

CAUSE

This problem may occur when you use the ViewEdit.aspx file on your Windows SharePoint Services Web site to edit your filter criteria that you created in FrontPage 2003.

WORKAROUND

To prevent this problem, use FrontPage 2003 to create and edit your filter criteria.
