Desktop Truncates During a Remote Session to a Tablet PC Client
Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003, and SMS 2.0 Service Pack 5 (SP5) introduce support for Tablet PC clients. After you start a Remote Tools session to a Tablet PC, the SMS remote console may truncate the new desktop. For example, only the top half of the remote desktop is viewable, or the
Start button may be moved off the screen.
This problem may occur if the remote user changes the Tablet PC screen orientation. For example, the user changes the screen orientation from landscape to portrait. The SMS remote tools viewer does not update the remote environment to obtain the new screen dimensions. The SMS remote tools viewer determines the screen orientation of the Tablet PC only when the remote session starts.
To work around this problem, close and restart the remote session window.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section of this article.

Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
